Hololive’s Newest Ad Campaign Depicts Transcending Boundary of Talents and Reality

The new ads are seen on the official Hololive website and across Tokyo Metro lines.

VTuber agency giant Hololive has launched a new advertising campaign, aiming at promoting the message of its talents transcending the boundaries between their virtual world and reality.

The campaign, titled ‘The New Everyday Life is Right Beside You’, features a set of pictures depicting several Hololive talents engaging with real-life people in various forms, ranging from having a streetside music performance, to having a chat on the train.

Depicted talents include Hololive English’s Gawr Gura and Mori Calliope; Hololive Japan’s Hoshimachi Suisei, Inugami Korone, Shirakami Fubuki, Usada Pekora, and Houshou Marine; and Hololive Indonesia’s Kobo Kanaeru.

The ads appeared on the new Hololive website, as well as outdoor advertisements across nine Tokyo Metro lines, including at Shinjuku Station’s “Metro Promenade” and JR Shibuya Station’s “Hachiko Board”.

Hololive has long used outdoor advertising as a way to promote its upcoming events, as well as certain milestones of the agency. In February 2022, Hololive launched a massive outdoor advertising campaign to promote its Hololive Super Expo 2022 across train stations in all 47 prefectures in Japan.

VTuber agencies like Hololive have long tapped into the competitive and diverse outdoor advertising space in Japan, which has seen steady growth despite post-pandemic woes.
