Hoshimachi Suisei to Take a Stream Break for Throat Surgery

Hoshimachi Suisei from Hololive Production announced that she is taking a break for one and a half months as she undergoes throat surgery starting today, September 16.

Suisei explained in her announcement, which was broadcast live on September 15, that she has been going to the hospital and obtaining medical advice because her throat hasn't been feeling well for a time, leading to this decision.

Despite this, Suisei has assured her fans that this is mild, and there's not really any risks.

As part of her stream break, she prepared a lot of short videos, and her weekly radio with Azusa Tadakoro on the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting channel will continue. She considers doing silent streams on her channel during this break as well.

Midnight Grand Orchestra, which Suisei is part of alongside composer Taku Inoue, recently launched a collaboration with Japanese food chain Mos Burger, inspired by the chain's limited-time Tsukimi Focaccia burger.
