VTuber Vienna Officially Ends Her Contract With Esports Org Cloud9

In a tweet, she stated how her love for esports will never change, and that she is preparing for a ‘new adventure’.

Independent VTuber Vienna has officially ended her contract with US-based esports organization Cloud9 after three years of contract with them. The news comes two months after Vienna signed with talent agency Loaded as the first VTuber on the lineup.

In a tweet, she stated how her love for esports will never change, and that she is preparing for a ‘new adventure’. In a follow-up tweet, she says how she has been thankful with the organization for allowing her to debut on the organization as a VTuber.

Two years ago I planned and debuted as [a] VTuber, something many esports fans at the time weren't sure about. I'm honored I got to showcase a bit of what [we] were about,” she said.

The organization has also posted their thank you message for Vienna, stating that she has been a ‘shining light’ to the organization.

Many other VTubers and fans have expressed their support for Vienna in this new chapter, including names such as VShojo’s Zentreya, Nana Asteria, and Cy Yu. Moreover, fans have expressed Vienna’s legacy during her stint at Cloud9.

She's one of the biggest pioneers that helped bring esports to the VTuber scene since debut. Every chapter and era has an ending, but a new one awaits,” one Twitter user expressed.

During her stint at Cloud9, Vienna focused her content on League of Legends, and has also worked with game studio Odyssey Interactive to work on the game Omega Strikers. Vienna is no stranger to working with brands, as she has previously worked with companies such as Riot Games and Electronic Arts.
