What is VTuber NewsDrop?

VTuber NewsDrop is yet another website set up to share stories about the next frontier of entertainment. NewsDrop's uniqueness lies in its vision to share Industry News on VTuber Culture. Our mission is to inform and inspire the people in the scene—talents, creatives, and fans—through our stories.

On top of our occasional posts, we release a monthly newsletter that recaps the scene in a single Digest, straight to your inbox.

Milestones

  • August 6, 2022: NewsDrop launched in partnership with Kawa Entertainment. Kawa has no editorial control over its content. NecroNews joined NewsDrop as a content partner until March 2023.
  • September 18, 2022: Weekly NewsDrop newsletter first released to the public.
  • February 12, 2023: VTuberNewsDrop.com launched as a separate domain, making VTuber NewsDrop an independent group. Kawa Entertainment, as its founding partner, still helps maintain the website's technical infrastructure.
  • March 14, 2023: Facebook and LinkedIn accounts launched.
  • February 2024: Newsletter returns as NewsDrop Digest.
