Cosplay Mania 2023 to Host VTubers Mizuno Aki, PRISM Project, Hololive Indonesia Talents and Local Indie VTubers

Philippine event organizer Cosplay.ph Organization, Inc. announces its set of VTuber guests for Cosplay Mania 2023 happening on the weekend of September 30 to October 1 at SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

Cosplay Mania brings together a variety of VTubers from agencies and the independent scene for its 15th-year celebration:

Variety streamer Mizuno Aki is described as an enigmatic being that exists between reality and fantasy, born from the collective dreams and desires of humanity, embodying the essence of imagination itself. He's currently streaming to a 40,000-strong Twitch audience.

For the first time, Sony Music Virtual's PRISM Project will have its first appearance in the country:

• 5th-generation star Ami Amami is described as a rainy frog girl who dreams of becoming an idol. She debuted last April on YouTube and currently has 8,690 subscribers.
• 2nd-generation star Rita Kamishiro is a virtual creator ambassador for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, having raised $10,000 in her charity stream for Mental Health Awareness Month May last year. She streams to her 37,000 subscribers on YouTube.
• 3rd-generation star and newly debuted Sony Music recording artist Shiki Miyoshino is lined up for the first day of the event's JAM Concert segment, performing alongside other artists from overseas.

The PRISM Agents will have a meet-and-greet for select audience members on Saturday, September 30.

Third generation hololive Indonesia stars Kaela Kovalskia, Vestia Zeta and Kobo Kanaeru—which as of this update has released their second alternate outfits—are also announced as guests.

• Kobo, like Shiki, is a featured performer for JAM Concert. She will be performing on the second day.

• There will also be a Mini-JAM at the Exhibition (EX) Hall featuring Filipino independent VTubers Hanami Arisa, Azashi, Kai Hoshimi and Orihara Rei.
• VOLs Project will also have its set of activities as it debuts two new VTubers under its 1.5 Generation, Mayuno A. Charlotte and Minazuki Mana on Day 1.

• InvictaVT, an independent ikemen VTuber group, will also make its presence at the said event.

The event has announced its set of JAM Concert musical guests including Daoko, BPM15Q, Junna and Nano. Cosplayers KNITE, Clarissa Punipun, Phil Mizuno and Diane Sabandeja are also set to appear as guests. check their schedule on the tweet below.

Cosplay Mania is the flagship event of its quarterly event series, highly attended by the Philippines' cosplay crowd. Last year, it hosted popular hololive Indonesia stars Moona Hoshinova, Ayunda Risu, Kureiji Ollie and Pavolia Reine; as well as local VTuber talents Kitsui Akira (Kiichan) and the then-Yashin Live group led by Dasu and Maddie.
