Fuura Yuri Terminated From Phase Connect For Contract Breaches

Phase Connect handed down their first VTuber graduation on April 23, terminating the contract of Fuura Yuri effective immediately.

The agency, which is nearing its second anniversary, noted “it has been discovered, investigated and confirmed that there had been multiple, repeated breaches of the Phase Connect talent contract by Yuri in the past year she had been with us.

“Upon the confirmation of these infractions, both the company and Yuri had gone to great lengths to remedy the situation. Unfortunately we were unable to come to a mutual agreement.

“Therefore, a continued working relationship and a renewal of contract were deemed impossible.”

It comes after the star blanked out her social media bios days ahead of the notice, including a message on Twitch to the tune of “until death do us part.” A final farewell video will be posted on April 30.

Yuri was originally a part of CyberLive Corp. (which then became the independent group Aetheria), joining Phase Connect just over a year ago on April 13, 2023.

Despite having a history before joining Phase Connect, the agency confirmed all of her social media channels—including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Discord, and TikTok—will be taken offline on May 1.

Fans who recently donated to her PC funding drive will be able to request refunds up to the same date.

At the time of termination, Yuri had nearly 25,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 15,000 Twitch followers.
