Popular Japanese indie VTuber Koito Ria (Mikeneko) is set to make her artist debut with Pony Canyon in the spring of 2024. Her artist debut will be under her new alias, the name being given to her when she signed as a talent under VOICE-ORE in June this year.
Speaking on this move, Ria hopes that her songs will bring joy to many people, and bring them much closer. She also wants to sing a wide range of songs, and she looks forward to her future activities.
It is also worth noting that Mikeneko will be also making her debut in an upcoming harem-ecchi anime titled Meitou "Isekai no Yu" Kaitakuki: Around 40 Onsen Mania no Tensei Saki wa, Nonbiri Onsen Tengoku deshita. The anime premieres January 12 next year, with Mikeneko voicing a supporting character named Lilium.
Mikeneko's officially-released singles include "drop" and "you&me", both available on her official Spotify page. As of this writing, she has over 900,000 YouTube subscribers and over 500,000 followers on X (Twitter).
