Nijisanji Festival 2022 Behind-the-Scenes Documented

Nijisanji has released a documentary of Nijisanji Festival 2022 (NIJIFES'22) on YouTube midnight Japan time.

• The 37-minute documentary covers the setup of the event from September 28, Wednesday to the actual event from September 30 to October 2, 2022 at Makuhari Messe.
• Interviews with staff covering various aspects of the event—from stage effects to merchandise and even mascots. Visitors were also interviewed about their experience.
• Elira Pendora and Hana Macchia who also participated in the event in 3D shared their feelings about the event as well.
• Shizuka Rin served as the narrator for the whole documentary.

The documentary also sheds light in the preparations for the Nijisanji 4th Anniversary Live "Fantasia" held alongside the festival from September 30 to October 1.

• The concert was supposed to be held in January 22-23 that year at PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa but was postponed as some cast members have contracted COVID-19.
• It was reported at that time that the number of new COVID-19 cases have increased, putting Kanagawa and several other prefectures into a quasi-emergency state.
