Kuzuha is performing the opening theme song "Black Crack", while music sub-unit Nornis composed of  Machita Chima and Inui Toko will be performing the ending theme song "salvia".

"Black Crack" is Kuzuha's first single, and will be released on November 8, while "salvia" is Nornis' second single and will be released on September 27. Both releases will be distributed by Universal Music Group Japan.

This was not the first time someone from Nijisanji performed an anime's theme song. For instance, the unit ▽▲TRiNITY▲▽, composed of talents Rion Takamiya, Fuyuyuki Hakase, and Furen E Lustario performed the ending theme song "IMPRINTING" for the 2022 anime Dawn of the Witch. Fellow Kaede Higuchi, meanwhile, performed the Classroom for Heroes' opening theme "Bravery? Naturally?".

Other VTubers who have performed anime theme songs in recent years include Shibuya HAL's "Kaerimichi no Iro" from The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting and Hololive sub-unit NEGI☆U's (composed of talents inato Aqua, Oozora Subaru, and Momosuzu Nene) "Tsumari wa Itsumo Kujikenai" for the first cour of The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! anime.
