V-ClaN, the VTuber community under Nippon TV’s entertainment subsidiary ClaN Entertainment, has entered into a multi-channel (MCN) partnership with Nippon TV’s existing MCN.
Through the partnership, Nippon TV and V-ClaN will collaborate to improve YouTube channel offerings and revenue-making strategies, including viewer development, content production support, creator collaboration, digital rights management, monetization, sales, among others.
V-ClaN is also inviting fans to join their upcoming projects on a monthly basis. Some of those projects include Apex Legends and Minecraft game tournaments, as well as holding seminars for content creators such as setting up their streaming setups, how to distribute their video online, among others.
YouTube MCNs have been more prevalent across Japanese VTuber agencies. In January this year, Hololive decided to move into an MCN model across its talent’s YouTube channels.
