Cover Corp., the Japanese parent company of VTuber agency Hololive, has announced the launch of a new brand called "HOLIZONTAL" (stylized as HLZNTL), which will focus on planning events related to gaming and e-sports.
According to the company, HLZNTL will aim at providing support, promotion, and observation over all challenges by its VTuber subsidiaries centered on the game and e-sports genres, and plan other related gaming event developments in the feature.
Despit HLZNTL making its full launch in September this year, the brand has first entered into a partnership with Riot Games for a Valorant-centric gaming event with Hololive. Said event will be held this August 3.
The announcement for the HLZNTL brand comes weeks after Hololive launched a new music label called holo-n alongside Universal Music Group (UMG) Japan. The new music label aimed to complement Hololive's latest music project Blue Journey.
