Dear Kawaii fans,
We are extremely sorry to inform you that we had to terminate the contract with our affiliated Vtuber, “Oceane Otoishi”.
Please read the official announcement below for the details. pic.twitter.com/rF2JWUVYIf
Her colleagues in Kawaii's 3rd generation Enchantasia—Peony Aeria, Miryu Kotofuji, Aletta Sky, Sava Safari—reacted to the announcement in support of the agency's decision.
Oceane is notable among the VTuber community as her YouTube channel was temporarily suspended nine days after her debut stream, not to mention she's open to using AI-generated art for her YouTube thumbnails.
This is the second talent termination within Production Kawaii's ranks. Second-generation member Neena Makurano was terminated last year after breaching several clauses in her contract including being involved in VTuber activities outside Kawaii.
