The announcement for her appointment was also livestreamed at an official press conference by Sanae Takaichi, Japan's Minister in Charge of Economic Security of Japan. Usui later on shared a picture of Sanae presenting her ambassadorship poster to the public.

Clear Usui's content has been focused on rocket launching and spatial exploration, with her content going back as 2020. She went viral online after her explanation of the H3 Launch Vehicle by JAXA, which was made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and JAXA.

Moreover, her content has also caught attention of mainstream media, with her short clip of a recent rocket engine explosion at a JAXA facility back in July this year used for several news reports, including by USA Today.
