Watch KAF Perform at YouTube Music Weekend 7.0 alongside other VTubers
Enjoy listening to her powerful performance until September 10
Japanese virtual singer KAF from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO will perform on YouTube Music Weekend this Saturday (August 26, 2023) at 6:20pm Japan time.
KAF has performed at some of Japan's most celebrated venues such as the historic Nippon Budokan where she had a sold-out one-man live concert FUKAKAI Ⅲ/SOU last March. She is the first virtual singer to perform at the said venue, a martial arts hall also popular for hosting some of the world's top rock music acts.
She released her third full-length album Kyoso 「狂想」 at the same month, capturing the complexities of growing up in 21st-century Japan with her artistic growth and ability.
This weekend, get ready to listen to KAF's powerful performance from her historic Budokan concert. Joining her on YouTube Music Weekend are popular Japanese musical artists YOASOBI, PinocchioP, ZUTOMAYO, Kikuo, Aiobahn, FAKE TYPE., Reol and more.

- The performance will be available for viewing until September 10.
KAF debuted at the early age of 14 in 2018 using a 3D avatar. She was selected by Forbes Japan as one of the 30 Under 30 individuals last year. Her main composer, Iori Kanzaki, is a known composer who wrote Vocaloid hall-of-fame song Hated by Life Itself.
The ongoing YouTube Music Weekend 7.0 also features several other VTubers and units, including:
- hololive's Hoshimachi Suisei and her Midnight Grand Orchestra collab unit with composer TAKU INOUE
- NIJISANJI units Nornis (Chima Machita and Inui Toko) and ROF-MAO (Hayato Kagami, Kenmochi Touya, Fuwa Minato and Kaida Haru)
- Utaite and comedian Pmaru-sama.

As part of the three-day event, KAF will be featured in physical YouTube advertising in Los Angeles and New York during the said weekend.
